“I’ve always been fascinated by well-machined parts. To me they are beautiful sculptures, in and of themselves”.
Kit Casati
From museums to churches and homes
The 5-foot geode at the Perot Museum in Dallas, Texas, is one of the more iconic representations of my work, but I have many other sculptures in churches, galleries and at businesses and private residences around Austin.
The cage structure that embraces the Perot Museum geode and allows a small child to crank it open is one of various displays at the the Lyda Hill Gems and Minerals Hall I made while I was working with Paul Bernard Exhibit and Consulting.
If you visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science you will find a sculpture of a prehistoric xenith cantis shark I sculpted a few years ago, and if you find yourself in Santa Fe, New Mexico, stop by the Andreeva Portrait Commissions and Gallery to see some of the modern display cases that I custom-built for their various portraits.
Besides museums My work is also in various churches, including St.Theresa Catholic Church in Austin and the St. John Vianney Catholic Church of Round Rock.
And at various private residences around Austin, as well as businesses such as the karaoke rooms at Alamo/Highball on South Lamar Boulevard.
Museums & Galleries
Find my sculptures at the Perot Museum of Natural Science, and at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
Churches
One of my first sculpture jobs after college was for St. Theresa Catholic Church. My work is also at St. John Vianney in Round Rock.
Around Austin
If you find like to karaoke at the Highball on South Lamar, you might end up in one of the rooms with my work.
